Using Lists to Organize Guests
Lists are commonly used to segment attendees into meaningful groups such as:- Executives
- VIP Guests
- Speakers
- Sponsors
- Staff
- Specific attendee cohorts
Lists and Broadcasts
Lists are the primary audience selection method for broadcasts. When creating a broadcast, you can select one or more lists to determine who receives the message. The platform automatically calculates the final recipient count based on active guests and communication preferences. In some situations, such as sending a message to a small group of selected individuals, the system may create temporary lists behind the scenes. These system-generated lists are not displayed in standard list management screens and require no user action.Lists and Session Audiences
Lists can be used to control who can view or receive communications about a session. Examples include:- Making a session visible only to a specific audience
- Sending reminders to a targeted group
- Managing RSVP attendance
- Attending
- Not Attending
Lists and Keywords
Lists can be connected to SMS keywords. For example, guests might text a keyword to join a specific list. When they do, the platform automatically adds them to the associated audience and can enable future communications to that group.Lists and FAQs
Lists can also control FAQ visibility. This allows event teams to:- Show certain FAQs to everyone
- Restrict specific FAQs to particular guest groups
- Create personalized information experiences for different audiences
Lists and Imports
When importing guests from a file, lists provide an easy way to organize imported records. You can:- Import guests directly into an existing list
- Create a new list during the import process
- Review list membership before completing an import
