# Appointment settings

> Enable waitlist and appointments, URLs, capacity, and reminders.

Open **Event Settings** → **Appointments**. Day-to-day waitlist and bookings are on [Appointments](/platform/appointments).

## How do I turn appointments on?

1. Enable **Enable appointments site**.
2. Turn **Waitlist** and/or **Appointments** on.
3. Set **Appointments URL**, default duration, and capacity.
4. Edit message templates if needed.
5. Under **Appointment reminders**, **Add reminder**, **Edit**, or **Remove**.
6. Click **Save**.
